Honest about its limits

This is general information, not financial or religious advice. Where scholars differ, we say so.

Some of the tools we use have referral links. They are clearly marked as referral links on our links page. We may earn a reward if you sign up, and so might you. They never change what we say.

Who we are

I'm Youcef, and that's Amina next to me. We live in London and we're working out money the halal way, one step at a time. I'm not a scholar or an adviser. I share what we've learned and what's worked for friends, with sources, so you can understand the basics before you talk to a bank, an adviser or a scholar.

  • You are new to halal money.
  • You want to compare savings accounts or ISAs fairly.
  • You want sources, not hype.
